The Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a German International cooperation enterprise for sustainable development with worldwide operations. PAKLIM is a program advising and supporting the national government, local governments, industries and civil society with climate change mitigation and adaptation initiatives. Our Work Area 3 in GHG-Reduction and Energy Efficiency in Industries, Industrial Estates seeks qualified Indonesian candidates for one position as Senior National Advisor.
The candidate shall be an experienced Business/ Management Graduate, Engineer or Natural Scientist (Environmental Management) preferable with a Master Degree (S2) and very good English language skills for strenghteing the program's cooperation with the private sector, and supporting in particular its team implementing the work area 'Energy Efficiency in Industries and Industrial Estates'.
We expect in particular professional experience developed in a previous career of minimum 10 years in the areas of policy advice/ advocacy related to GHG mitigation, industrial mitigation measures, environmental protection, including rich experiences and knowledge on working with Government Agencies and Private Sector Partners.
Within the team the candidate will take the lead role in this field and guides the team in regard to strategy development and communication with stakeholders from the private sector (esp. industries, associations and service providers), partner organisations (MoE, MoI, MoEMR) and national and international consultants.
